Escape Home

Escape Home, 2022

This series of art pieces delves into the themes of derealization and wonder, exploring the journey of a protagonist who, overwhelmed by stress, retreats into a fantastical realm to escape her inner turmoil. As she battles spirits and confronts the ghosts of her past, the boundaries between reality and illusion begin to blur. Each piece reflects her struggle to regain control and find her way back to the real world, with the tension between the two realms creating a sense of unease and awe. Through these works, viewers are invited to navigate this surreal landscape, questioning what is real and what is imagined, and reflecting on the power of our mind to shape our perceptions of reality.

Character Design

Character Design, Continuous

My fascination with character and costume design stems from a deep appreciation for how visual elements can tell a story and bring personalities to life. I am captivated by the way clothing, accessories, and overall appearance can reflect a character's background, emotions, and role within a narrative.

Whether creating original characters or reimagining existing ones, I find immense joy in the process of designing unique, expressive looks that enhance the storytelling experience. This passion extends to exploring the ways in which costume design can shape the identity of a character, making them more dynamic and memorable within their world.

For my holiday booth sales, I created a festive and warm collection of some of the pop medias favorite faces, along with some of my original art.

Meal Worm Bento Box, 2024

For my project, I researched the agricultural needs of Eswaniti, a region facing food security challenges. I explored mealworm farming as a sustainable solution due to its low resource requirements and high nutritional value. My research revealed that local farmers lacked the infrastructure to manage insect farms efficiently.

To address this, I designed a modular, transportable bento box for mealworm farming. This compact, functional box has compartments to harvest, care for, and transport the farms, with features to regulate temperature, humidity, and ventilation. The design is both practical and appealing, offering a scalable solution to enhance food security and support sustainable farming in Eswaniti.
