Trades Campus Connection

In this assignment we went on-site to create an analysis of Bloomington’s Trades District, this project focused on improving campus connections through pedestrian-centered design. I explored ways to make the route to the core of the Trades District more inviting by widening sidewalks and introducing interactive banners, signage with interactive maps, and posters. Additional interventions included new lampposts, planters, canopies, balconies for greenery, and merchandising package, transforming a narrow, bland walkway into a more welcoming and engaging pedestrian experience.
